Richard Kunz leads T4G's travel and hospitality consulting practice and provides management consulting for corporate strategies, multi-channel distribution, eCommerce strategies & solutions, reservation systems and marketing programs.
Prior to joining T4G Mr. Kunz was the Vice President of Advance Sales Technology at Intrawest, one of the world's biggest resort operators, where he was responsible for the development and support of the company's reservation systems, and eCommerce platform.
Mr. Kunz has twenty five years of experience as a consultant and senior executive for leading travel and hospitality firms around the world in areas such as IT, marketing, sales, strategic planning and supply chain optimization. His skills span most travel industry verticals including retail and wholesale travel, hospitality firms, cruise lines, airlines, technology providers and global distribution systems.
Mr. Kunz's accomplishments include the development of various IT solutions involving central reservation systems (CRSs), global distribution systems (GDSs), eCommerce solutions, as well as tour, hotel and fares distribution systems. On the business side his background includes the authorship and implementation of an array of corporate strategies and marketing programs.
Having been involved with travel eCommerce for over ten years Mr. Kunz was a pioneer in dynamic packaging and most recently he is focused on defining strategies for clients around the latest trends such as Web 2.0, multi-channel supply chain optimization, experiential travel solutions and catalogue-driven shopping.
Mr. Kunz has been a guest lecturer in the past at Humber College, Toronto, Canada, and with Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. He holds a MA-Marketing from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
Patricia Brusha E-Analyst & Co-Founder A Couple of Chicks e-Marketing
Patricia Brusha is the co-chair and co-founder of Online Revealed Canada - the Canadian Tourism e-Marketing Conference produced in association with Yahoo! Canada and www.acoupleofchicks.com - an Internet Marketing Company focused on travel and tourism. She has spent 26 years working in the Hospitality Industry in the United States and Canada in the fields of Sales, Hotel Marketing, Internet Distribution and Revenue Management. Together, the "Chicks" have published over 30 articles, launched www.chicksaway.com - a new social media portal for women who travel.
The Chicks have worked with such notable brands as Marriott International and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, to develop innovative online marketing strategies, and their popular e-marketing workshops have also lead to the upcoming book focused on the "Chicks" non-intimidating approach to marketing online to be launched Spring 2008. Patricia is a Google Certified Professional and a Yahoo Search Ambassador. Hari Nair Vice President, Lodging Expedia Inc.
Hari Nair is the Vice President of Lodging at Expedia, Inc., which includes Expedia and Hotels.com, the two largest online sellers of hotel rooms in the world. Hari oversees various aspects of Expedia and Hotels.com's hotel supplier relations efforts and heads the lodging division for Canada, Eastern US, Caribbean and Mexico. In 2003, Hari was awarded the "Market Manager of the Year" award by Expedia, Inc. for having initiated best practices in the field of Internet distribution strategies in the company's operations.
Prior to joining Expedia, Inc., Hari was the Corporate Training Manager at Oberoi Hotels, a leading luxury hotel chain which owns and manages thirty hotels and five luxury cruisers across six countries under the 'Oberoi' & 'Trident' brands. Hari also has several years of experience in Food & Beverage operations. Prior to transitioning into training, Hari was the Food & Beverage Manager at the Oberoi's flagship hotel, The Oberoi Towers in Mumbai, a 1000 room hotel with over 14 food & beverage outlets.
Hari holds a Masters Degree from The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.

Don Dees is one of the founders of DóndeEs.com, the leading local search and Web 2.0 company in Puerto Rico. While working some 15+ years within information technology (IT), Don held many positions including analyst, consultant, and Director of Software Development, mostly within the telecommunications industry. After leaving corporate IT in 2002, Don has been focusing on open source software, Web2.0, and being an entrepreneur. During that time Don has written for O'Reilly Network, Linux Journal, and TUX Magazine. In addition he has presented at major software and technology conferences such as, O'Reilly Open Source Convention, Linux World, and Software Development Conference. Marvin Dejean is the Senior Vice President of Media Strategies at POWERi Technologies , a fully interactive marketing and digital public relations firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He leads the interactive and digital public relations initiatives at the company. He also oversees the company's expansion throughout the Caribbean by providing interactive strategies for the Travel & Tourism industry throughout the region.

Mindy Joyce Senior Marketing Director Travelzoo
Mindy Joyce is the Senior Marketing Director for travel deal publisher, Travelzoo, leading the company to success in brand advertising, public relations, trade marketing and events to generate brand awareness, drive traffic and attain subscribers for the company's email publications. In addition to her North American focused role, Mindy is also responsible for Travelzoo's global brand management.
Since December 2005, Mindy has been involved in developing new branding initiatives and consumer research for Travelzoo. Mindy's accomplishments include initiating and implementing the company's first brand advertising campaign, attaining national media exposure on over 300 TV morning shows including NBC's Today Show, and produced numerous high level trade events and specialized online video content.
Between 2000 and 2005, Joyce held several marketing roles at Tourism New Zealand based in Los Angeles. Mindy managed the media strategy and placements in the US market, brand advertising, partnership marketing, events and sponsorships including The Food & Wine Classic at Aspen and the New Yorker Festival. Mindy led the development and execution of "Maori Art Meets America" a week-long promotion in San Francisco involving seven days of events, advertising and publicity.
In 1996, Joyce relocated from New Zealand to the United States to join travel wholesaler Newmans Vacations. Mindy graduated from Otago University in New Zealand with a bachelor's degree majoring in marketing management.
Edward Perry Senior Director of E-Commerce WORLDHOTELS
With over 20 years of industry exposure, Edward Perry has been with WORLDHOTELS for over eight years. During his tenure at WORLDHOTELS, he began in the corporate sales division, managing sales for the Northeastern USA. His most current appointment is as Senior Director of E-Commerce. In this position, Edward manages strategic alliances in the Americas and Asia between online booking and technology partners and WORLDHOTELS' portfolio of close to 500 properties worldwide.
Prior to his work at WORLDHOTELS, Edward took on a variety of industry positions in sales and marketing at various hotel levels, including in the area of corporate housing. His most recent position prior to WORLDHOTELS was the role as travel manager for Macy's West in San Francisco where he oversaw an air budget of ten million as well as the company's corporate credit card, hotel, car and calling card programs. He was instrumental in the roll-out of Macy's West's first online travel booking engine.
Edward has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and German from Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany and a MBA in Global Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He currently sits on the Board of HEDNA and is a Destination Educational Leader for Online Revealed and Co-Chair of Online Revealed Caribbean.
Carson Pierce Project Manager Idea Market
Since beginning his professional website development career seven years ago, Carson has been involved in nearly every facet of the industry; from marketing to design to coding. By 2004, he realized that he just wasn't that good of a designer and teamed up with someone who was to form Idea Market Design. Within a few years, a second company - Point B Marketing - was created to focus in on the needs of the marketing and design needs of the tourism industry.
While Carson still ends up doing a bit of everything, his day-to-day role now is Project Manager. His breadth of experience helps him understand each stage of the website development process... and get them done.
Carson has a BComm in Marketing, parents two small children and has won his fantasy hockey league two years in a row.
Gil Schmidt
A business consultant and biz-tech writer for over 20 years, Gil C. Schmidt has helped launched over 135 successful companies in Puerto Rico, Central America, the U.S. and Europe. Born in Puerto Rico, he grew up an Air Force brat living in 5 States before the age of 9. Precocious, he entered high school at 13, college at 15 and puberty at perhaps 17. Author of over 840 articles and more than 30 published stories in English and Spanish, Mr. Schmidt began blogging in 2005 and developed his signature blog Gil The Jenius over a cup of very bitter coffee. The results are still evident.
James Shan Strategic Global Markets Advisor POWERi Technologies
Before James Shan came to the USA, he worked for the China Youth Travel Services, the second largest travel company in China, as the Assistant General Manager for CYTS' overseas travel department. During his seven years of service with CYTS, James created the brand "Global Island Specialist" and successfully introduced high-end tropical destinations such as the Maldives and Mauritius into the Chinese Market. He also worked with the Philippines and Malaysian Tourism Bureaus to improve their market awareness significantly in the Chinese Market.
In 2004, James lectured on Chinese Market Entry Strategies to delegates from 30 countries at the World Seminar of PATA, as a guest speaker from North China. In addition to his experience in China, he also interned with Regent Seven Seas in Fort Lauderdale on luxury brand strategy and online marketing in 2006, while pursuing his MBA from the University of Michigan. We believe his rich experience in promoting foreign destinations in the Chinese market and his understanding of the US high-end travel businesses will add value to the business of the audience.
Mike Sottak Founder Wired Island
Mike is the founder of Wired Island, the largest full service marketing agency in the Turks & Caicos Islands. He has more than 20 years experience in tourism and high-tech marketing, business development, public relations and journalism. He is a 11-year and permanent resident of Turks and Caicos and has consulted for many of the leading businesses, media and government organizations in the islands, including the Turks & Caicos Tourist Board, the Turks & Caicos Hotel & Tourism Association, the TCI Immigration and Labour Departments, The Department of Environmental & Coastal Resources, and a variety of businesses in the hospitality, financial services, real estate and travel industries. Mike combines award-winning writing and journalism skills with a strong background in Internet and digital marketing to help develop effective communications and business development programs for Wired Island clients.
