Stephanie Chiquette is the Marketing Manager of Albert at Bay Suite Hotel and Best Western Victoria Park Suites in Ottawa where she researches, plans and executes the online & offline marketing strategy for both Ottawa hotels.

Originally Stephanie became acquainted with the hotel industry by serving as Convention Coordinator for the Texas State Student Association. Fascinated by her experience with the hospitality industry, she joined the Beaumont Hilton in Texas following her graduation from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations/Speech Communications.

Stephanie's career accomplishments have included such diverse projects as a Sales Manager for Computer Science Corporation, known today as Equifax. Her experience serving a diverse client base included NASA where she installed a computer for Johnson Space Center's HR department.

Stephanie joined the Albert at Bay Suite Hotel and Best Western Victoria Park Suites in 1992 as Sales Manager and was later promoted to Director of Sales. Albert at Bay launched Ottawa's first hotel website in 1995 and Stephanie soon became responsible for maintaining the site in a very flat and image free web world and remembers the thrill of adding the hotel logo and images to the websites.

Stephanie left the hotel briefly to be a work from home mom and started a consulting business. During that time she continued to manage websites for the hotels and several conferences including the 2000 CTC Tourism Satellite Account Conference. She returned to the hotels full time in 2005 with the focus on marketing & pursuing emerging online possibilities.

Stephanie applies her knowledge gained over 20 years in sales & hospitality and continues to further her online marketing education by exploring web 2.0 technologies, mobile, social marketing and their impact on consumer behaviour and buying habits.

Terri McCulloch manages the Bay of Fundy Tourism Partnership for the tourism industry and the Nova Scotia/New Brunswick Tourism Departments. In this capacity, she has lead the design, delivery and evolution of the Bay of Fundy's Market Readiness Program: the first in Canada to combine strategic business mentoring, customized best practices missions and professional mystery shopping for the benefit of small and medium sized tourism businesses.

Terri has served on the NS Tourism Partnership Council and represented Nova Scotia for 3 years on the CTC's Product Innovation & Enhancement Committee. Her Bay of Fundy blog recently received recognition from CTC Brand Canada as a 'best practice' in destination blogging. She is an avid hiker, slow foodie, and photographer who lives, works and thrives in rural Nova Scotia.

"Terri's informed and eclectic mix of geography lessons, trip reports, recipes and lobster maps provides exactly the type of local insider knowledge that makes blog surfing worthwhile. Written with a dash of east-coast charm, Terri brings the Bay of Fundy to life in a way that makes me want to re-visit this spectacular part of Canada. If we could clone Terri and create the same great content for every corner of Canada, we'd be well on our way to attracting the type of tourist numbers this country deserves."
